The Tundra Swan is a small swan that inhabits areas within the Northern Hemisphere. The Whistling Swan of North America and the Bewick’s Swan of Eurasia are types of Tundra Swans.

Although Tundra Swan numbers are stable over most of their range, they are increasingly dependent on agricultural crops, due to habitat destruction. Other human impacts on this type of swan include hunting and pollution.

Teach students about the ecology surrounding Tundra Swans with this fun activity. This product includes:

  • Five pages with and article and 10 short-answer questions
  • A model-building activity
  • An answer key
